First Round of the Sensas Canal Masters

SENSAS CANAL MASTERS FIRST ROUND RESULTS
This is a new competition this year after the sucess of the Sensas River Masters , the competition is based along the same rules sections of Ten anglers and the winner goes through to the final on March the 15th . the competition has six qualifing round with around 80 anglers competing in each qualifier all hoping to make the final. This weekend hosted the first round on the grand union canal through Loughborough although the conditions were hard with extra colour coming into the canal over night it still fish well. winner of the first round was Alan Connally from Northampton with a weight of roach caught on bread and Bloodworm and Joker for a total of 2kg 930g and is one of the first to qualify for this years final . Local lad Sam Merry who has had a outstanding season so far on rivers and canal pull a bonus perch along with a few roach for 2KG 910G second place . Third place went to Chris Buckingham with 2kg 850g .
