Walked the stretch today, looked very fishable , well coloured water and no evidence of boat traffic , , not too wide ( top 2 plus 3? ) may have spotted a couple of cracks in the distance bagging up ?

Had a play on the secret venue today , not too secret as OBI & BIG COL were also there . Lots of small roach to be had , caught a few myself on punched bread & 3m whip, nice visit from NRA Bailiffs to enquire about the venue and where had I put my licence ( in wallet on mantlepiece ) ?

Some pegs will be tight in terms of room behind ( fences / thick hedges ) so expect a few to be whip fishing or possibly telescopic poles?

Have a set of John Wilson telescopic whips , I think I paid £24 for a set 3/4/5/6 metres - British Museum have asked about them but I say " No , Mr Wilson would wish me to use them for their stated purpose! "
