Curse match 15 - Doggers
Posted: October 13th, 2014, 11:44 am
Well we rolled on to the last match of the calendar at Doggers bridge on the W & E canal, having moved from the Trent. There were a few issues to be decided on this last outing, such as Knockout final between Yamo and KOD. Could Big Col be caught and robbed of his Club champion award, and would OBI be at the bridge before everyone else
Heinzer kindly pegged 8 either side of the bridge, and the draw was made. As is the norm, Big Col drew an end peg, and to add a bit of spice, Yamo and KOD drew adjacent pegs :surprise
Tale of the scales:
1st Heinzer 4 - 6 - 0. Nice net of Roach with one stamper Rudd
2nd KOD 2 - 0 - 0
3rd Daz Williams 1 - 10 - 4
4th Yamo 1 - 6 - 9
5th Tricast 1 - 6 - 4
6th MrV 1 - 6 - 0.
So there you go. Big Col Club Champion. KOD knockout champion. OBI turned up late so as not to attract any unfair allegations his way
And biggest shock of the day......Dazzler finally framed and claimed MrV's scalp, having threatened to do it for 2 seasons
Congratulations to the winners on the day, well done to you all
