Oxford winter league open

The practice match for the next round of the Oxford winter league was fished by 38 anglers on the Thames on the Channel and Folly sections. With the river still very clear a hard match was experienced by most but there were pockets of better fish in areas.
1st Martin Wickens - Drennan Banbury Gunsmiths - 16lb 11oz. Martin drew above the culvert on the channel and had roach, skimmers and perch on 11m pole and maggot over groundbait.
2nd Martin Kirk - Sensas A4 - 14lb 13oz. Drawn just below the culvert on the channel Martin had roach perch and skimmers on pole fished worm over chopped worm.
3rd John Taylor - Tubertini Apollo - 11lb 1oz - John drew at the top of Coca Cola bay at Folly and had roach and perch on waggler and maggot.
4th Steve Pratt - Tubertini Apollo - 10lb 14oz. Steve was also in Coca Cola bay and also had roach and perch on the waggler and maggot.
5th Martin Phipps - Drennan Banbury Gunsmiths -
