Last few days since it been sunny ive had a few more headaches than normal, i wear glasses (24/7) and got reactors on them so they act as sunglasses but i can still see/read things and not squinting.

Anyone else having similar random headaches? Dont remember having headaches last summer or owt (mostly in the day). Im thinking daft maybe its where the sun hasnt been around for a while maybe the eyes take a while to re-adjust to a different light or something :-/ or is it me thinking stupid?!

Hmmmmm

Too much thinkin my head hurts

its the sort of fishing you are doing its so intents i always leave the venue with a headache Imagethinking this thinking that my brother is a mad scientist in Canada [cancer research] and he was saying that the strength of the suns rays is higher than ever and with it reflecting off the water is almost doubled so perhaps a stronger pair of sun glasses is needed gem 8-)he is always telling us to stay out of the sun or put sun block on bye the bucket full Image Image Image

Reactors are no good if you are getting glare, especially from water Gem. Many years ago I had a spell of bad migraine type headaches after fishing especially when there was a ripple on the water. The answer was a pair of prescription sunglasses with polorid lenses.

They are not cheap but I wait til the opticians are doing a BOGOF deal and got the polorids as the free pair but still had to pay £60 extra for the special lenses. :(

Thinking about it Joff i did have abit of a headache last time fishing when it was sunny, dont know if it was excitement or as you say the intensity of fishing.

I done the BOGOF offer with specsavers when these i got in Feb/March, but back then i had to pay 2 lots of reactors as they didnt include them then but they do now (typical!).

So the Polorids are the better option, ill have a look into it and maybe have them next time i get new glasses.

Thanks guys

I think sometimes the intensity of the fishing can lead to a headache Gem, coupled with the concentration and focus of a 5 hour match in any conditions.I get them from time to time mostly on the way home from the black country when woodhouse has ripped the **** out of me when i have picked up a brown envelope Image Image ;) :D

Gemma, half way through the match i was on yesterday i began with one of them headaches which became almost unbearable at the allout.I had that bright white water to contest with and i am sure it was that ??
After the match one of the lads showed me a pair of yellow tinted glasses made by Fox which change colour according to the light......they are superb, i couldnt beleive the difference when i tried them !!!
