Hi Paul, me and Mick might be able to attend this match [weather permitting] but for Mick it will also depend on the banks and pegs being accessible for his limited mobility. Do you know what the pegs a like? Also, can you post location and directions should we decide to give it a go.

Barry. As far as I remember, a lot of the pegs are fishing from the bank, due to highish banks. There are a few where the Sitting down anger can be accommodated, and quite a few wading pegs. Sure we can sort Mick out with a comfy peg mate
As for directions, the BMAA website quotes the following:
Cuttle Brook
A very popular water holding big Barbel, Chub and Carp plus all the usual species. From Swarkestone Bridge (A514) 300m past Garage turn right into track (sign-posted). Follow the track for 1mile to river, Car park 8B. Park near footbridge (never block track) fishing here is good for Barbel, Chub, Roach and Bream. The pegs above bridge are very good!
Car park 8C is a further ¼ mile down the track in the Woods. The pegs along the roadside can all produce good catches of Chub and Roach. Barbel can show anywhere! The pegs in the wood are a lot deeper and hold Big Perch, Chub and Carp, Below the Woods the river returns to fast shallow runs (Barbel & Chub).

Barry looking on Google maps most direct route appears to be up A38 to A50 exit. Take A50 towards Nottingham and leave at first exit Melbourne.
Take A514 towards Melbourne/Swadlincote shortly after crossing the canal and brook track entrance is on left

I'm sure some one will correct this if I'm wrong
or 1st, 2nd and 3rd will be sorted

Me and Tricast pegging out mate. Will see how they look with low water. There are some great pegs up there, so if we can fish em they will be in. Be a bit of a ballacre weighing in, but will use the whole length to accommodate walking wounded etc

Believe it or not Si, there will be even less fishing than the casualty list. Some just can't be arsed to let TK know they won't be there. Will probably finish up having every other peg in, which will make for a good match on a low clear river
