SENSAS MASTERS RESULTS 6TH
Posted: September 1st, 2014, 11:00 am
The 6th and final round of the Sensas River Soar Masters for anglers to qualify .If you think its easy to qualify well think again the standard of anglers and angling on the bank has been second to none . From some of the current England Members to the some of the legends of river fishing young and old. It's been a real eye opener for both myself and Brian how well the river has fished over all the qualifiers and we will be running the same competition next years
Back to the results one or two Anglers have really stood out over the series. yesterday Mark Eustace Sensas repeated the result from the previous round and pulled off another win . Mark knew all about his draw Peg 1 as it is quite a fancied area but on a low clear river anything can happen . Mark used the same tactics Chopped worm feeder being 100% confident after the previous match win. plugging it with 50/50 darkened lake and Gros Gardens with plenty of worm . Mark had a back up with the pole but only used it for a short period . The last hour changed Marks match netting 12 skimmers for a total of 7kg 840g [ just short of 17lb]
2nd another inform angler throughout the series is Mark Perkins Dynamite Matrix Trentmen . Mark attacked his peg catching mainly Perch on the pole for 5kg 600g unfortunately i didn't get a picture but it was quite a catch .
3rd went to another inform angler Adey Reynolds Quorn again adey has had a brilliant series picking up money in most of the matches .Adey has mastered the hemp fishing on sutton and caught some bags of roach .
Adey and his 5kg 150g
4th went to a new comer to the river Martin Jacques Browning .Martin has figured in most rounds and just missing out again he's got himself up to speed very quickly
5th Darran Bickerton what can you say great all rounder and always catches fish catching at times when others can't . again we missed the photo as we were trying to get the right shot for the photo the scalesman put his fish back so we made do with this one Darran caught all roach over Groundbait and pinkies for 4kg630g
I'L mention 6th as it was the last chance saloon for me but i've managed to qualify by a double default i really wanted to win the section and had a great start but made a couple of errors through the day and a noisey boat moored up at the pub oppsite Still i managed 4kg 550g
A BIG THANKYOU TO ALL WHO TOOK PART AND IF YOU HAVEN'T GET YOUR NAME DOWN FOR NEXT YEAR
SPECIAL THANKS GOE'S BRIAN HULL TOP FELLA
