One of our club member passed away this morning.
Roly Conway, He was a smashing bloke. Always laughing and always carried his own gear to his peg despite offers of help.
You will be missed. RIP Roly....

When I spoke last night to you Si I could tell you were down a bit and when I asked you why I was gob smacked to hear the news.
I only met Rolly a couple of times (on the last two matches), but despite never having met me before we had some pleasant banter off adjacent pegs the first match and exchanged pleasantries the second
In the brief time I knew Rolly it was obvious he was a really pleasant gentleman
RIP Rolly

Hi Guys,
Thanks for the kind remarks regarding my dad. He was one of life's decent blokes allways willing to help people and always laughing and looking on the bright side of life. He loved life, lived it to the full and never let anything stop him doing what he wanted to do.
You only get 1 dad but if you had 2 my only wish would be that the other one would be just like him.
Regards,
Conna.

Thanks guys for the best wishes.
I'm sure he will have a great send off. I went to see him yesterday and he looked well smart in his best suit. Ely's did a great job on him.
I know the church is going to be packed so I'd better get my skates on.
See you soon guys
