Well the river had gone clear again and very little flow Brian had spread the pegs out using most of the length. As we arrived on the bank it was clear to see the wind would hamper float presentation . With the blustery wind even the normal wind free pegs had rollers it was going to be hard . never the less there will always be a winner
Mark Eustace made no mistakes after drawing in the low numbers and with the wind blowing Mark opted to fish the feeder all match .By the end of the match he had caught 4 tench and a load of hand sized skimmers for a total of 8kg 500g . Mark fished chopped worm down the middle of the river and caught throughout the 5 hours. 2nd place went to Sam Merry who finally qualified after several near misses .Sam fished feeder and pole and later caught on hemp for 6kg 300g . 3rd pace went to Mr consistent Tony Marshall but this week his hemp seed stayed in his bait bag tony caught most of his fish on chopped worm and caster . some on the feeder and the rest on the pole down the edge for 6kg 250g and last in the money was Chris Buckingham on 55 peg Bucko managed a nice Tench and backed it up with perch for 5kg 350g .

i didn't get any photo's of the winning catches this week as i couldn't of drawn further away from the fish

Roger Marlow yet again draws a flier if only i had his drawing arm

Drawing Winter pegs in the summer i'l never get near these pegs when you want them . I only managed 1kg980 mainly Perch
