Simple Match Fishing Forum

Following a few days of fine dry weather the heavens decided to open just prior to the draw for the match and the rain and wind continued until about mid day

undeterred by the weather, 41 anglers took part in the Coors Charity Open held on behalf of the "Whiz Kids Charity"



Despite the very wet and windy weather the match produced some excellent results with Dave Jones having drawn on a municipal peg which is not known as a flyer,

coming out the overall winner with an excellent net of mixed fish weighing 18lb 13oz.

Second Place went to Paul Bick who drew an Sherratts section and weighed in with 13lb 0oz

Sherratts section also accounted for third place which was claimed by Stuart Raynor with 12lb 4oz

and a very close third from the Broadholme was Clive Lloyd with 12lb 2oz



The whiz kids charity benefitted to the sum of £362.00 and Coors AC would like to thank all that took part and to the sponsors of the raffle prizes
