Great to see my old teammate Bob Greenbury still at the top of his game .Bob and myself  go back more years than i can remember Leicester Home Brewery through to Leicester Sensas . Bob is one of a few anglers that can mix commercial fishing at the highest level one day and the next day compete at the highest level on naturals .Bob stepped down from Leicester around the same time as i did and Stan piecha so i thought it would be nice to reunite the lads in a winter league team on the soar . No pressure no meetings just just a bunch of mates fishing together again . Bob will be a key member along with Stan Chris Marks is fishing a few along with his mate Mark Eustace and a few new faces Vince, Phil, Steve Brookes Dave muwby who have fallen in love with the river Tim kaye all this is down to Stu timson the new owner of bennetts fishing tackle shop in Mountsorrel who is very passionate about the old school of fishing . For a long time i said no as i didn't want the old pressures of dropping anglers or meetings and most of all filling my spare time up with phone calls. but can be a very persuasive person and has twisted my arm and to be fair i'm looking forward to a new challenge from just being a angler it also gives me time to get on the bank with a lot of our sensas anglers . i think this could well be the best year we have had winter league wise with Starlets coming in Trentmen with a reinforce  new look team Leicester under the banner Drennan Quorn who are always there and there abouts wigston twith a very strong team long eaton with a few new faces matchmans supplys loughborough and little old us going under the name Bennetts  :thumsup
