Simple Match Fishing Forum

Over the decades I've been to this match a number of times (even tried to qualify one year) and I'm thinking about going on the Saturday this year or possibly the Monday. Does anyone know of the invitation list?

I may well be wrong - but I think the individual matches are all qualifiers now. Chopworm Hero will no doubt be along soon to correct me :-)

I only live down the road (Above Stratford), but never get myself in gear to book in before all the weekend qualifiers have been sold out. Next year .......

There are still a few invites, ie England team, current inform stars etc. The rest have to qualify in order to be there. If I was not fishing, then Alan Scotthorne, Dennis White, Darren Davies, Wayne Swinscoe and Tony Marshall would be some of the anglers I would have a look at.
