I think must of these come under the category of you'll know them straight away or you will have to delve big style to find them. There are no catch questions at all. :thumsup

1 In 1962 Brazil beat England 3v1 in the quarter final of the World Cup. Play was held up for a while when a dog ran on the pitch. The dog was eventually caught by Jimmy Greaves and handed over to an official but not before it had piddled all over Greaves' shirt! What happened to the dog?

2 Ryan Giggs played for England at schoolboy level. He played full international for Wales but what other country (non UK) could he have legally played for and why?

3 Who is universally respected as Africa's best ever player yet he never played for the country of his birth?

4 Name the three 'Peter's' that have managed Premier League clubs and what are the clubs?

5 Name the three top Scottish Premier League goal scorers of all time?

6 Who am I. I was born in Staffordshire. I played 25 times for my country, England. I only ever played for one team in the Football League.
(I actually played in the same team as his son for many years).

7 Name the referee that progressed from the Wolverhampton Amateur Leagues to eventually ref matches in the Football League? He retired in 2010.

8 Who plays at the Globe Arena and what is their nickname?

9 On the subject of nicknames what team is called 'The Loons'?

10 What prolific goal scorer scored exactly 200 goals in 303 appearances for Wolves, Blackburn Rovers, Manchester City and Chesterfield? He ended his career at Stafford where he passed away at just 43 years of age.

10)  Dennis Westcott.

7) Jarnyl Singh

Both those are correct; Jarnail Singh has two sons, both of them do a bit of reffing. I was at infants school with a lad named Paul Westcott, a son of Dennis but it was that long ago, I can only remember his name and we never kept in touch.

1 - Brazil star Garrincha adopted the dog.

1 is almost right, you have the right guy. Garrincha thought the incident was really funny. Nobody claimed the dog so it was given to the Brazil team and they run a raffle as to who would have it. Garrincha suspiciously won the raffle and took it home for a pet; he called it Bi. This is why I say suspicious as it is well known in Brazil that Garrincha would sh8g anything, His first conquest reputed to be a goat (no kidding). When he died, aged 49, he left 14 children but when he was alive he openly admitted there could have been a few more.
This is the Brazilian version to the end of this question; In jimmy Greaves road show he used to say he just gave the dog to Garrincha. Right or wrong and I think it is the right, the Brazilian answer is better :rofl

3. Eusebio is right as well. Born in Mozambique to Angolan parents.

I think that leaves 5 and 6 to get :surprise
