A very even spread of weights along the whole stretch.
Double congratulations to Big Col. winning both the match and taking the Golden Peg pot

Lower weights than I expected, but considering the conditions, hot, sunny and a low river a very fair match. Would love to catch it right with a foot on and fining down  Image
I enjoyed my match, catching most of my fish on 6 metre whip, and the odd one on wag and mag. Stick was out of the question with no flow and a big reed bed sticking out downstream which would have hampered presentation trying to fish it further out  :( :( Well done Big Col, man on fire, golden balls, draw bag....top man :tiphat :tiphat
Still, looking at the day overall, 3lb odd of River fish is better than 50lb of Craps off a hole in the floor any day of the week  :D :D
Really looking forward to the next Trent match at Cuttle Brook  Image Image

Looks like we were there a week too early - the following weeks COORs open match result..........

Dave Webb drew the Municipal section and alternated between his pole and stick float to weigh a very respectable 16lb 8oz

Third was a close result with only a few ounces separating Tony Moreton with 11lb 13oz and Harvey Clapham with 11lb 3oz both anglers were pegged on Baileys section.

all sections produced very good weights of mixed fish and 37 anglers took Part.

1st D.Webb 16lb 8oz Municipal

2nd Wayne swinscoe 14lb 0oz Sherratts

3rd Tony Moreton 11lb 13oz

4th Harvey Clapham 11lb 3oz

section winners

Baileys A D Jones 6lb 10oz

Baileys B M./Foreshew 8lb 9oz
