Curse match 10 2014 - Boiling at Baylies
Lower weights than I expected, but considering the conditions, hot, sunny and a low river a very fair match. Would love to catch it right with a foot on and fining down
I enjoyed my match, catching most of my fish on 6 metre whip, and the odd one on wag and mag. Stick was out of the question with no flow and a big reed bed sticking out downstream which would have hampered presentation trying to fish it further out :( :( Well done Big Col, man on fire, golden balls, draw bag....top man
Still, looking at the day overall, 3lb odd of River fish is better than 50lb of Craps off a hole in the floor any day of the week
Really looking forward to the next Trent match at Cuttle Brook
