What dates you thinking of going Joff, think were the 15th..Have you seen the results from last weeks Muckno mania, looks solid. A lad who we see in April on the Shannon(John Fletcher) has been going the last few years and he raves about it, he had 27kg on one day and I think that's 5 hrs

Fin,
We shall be on the midday ferry (first class of course!) on the Thursday, Castleblayney. You can be fishing just after 3 pm if you want to.
I shall be in the Horseman though.
Our digs are booked solid, I believe most of the town is.
Give me a bell as soon as you can and ask what you want. I catch crappity smack all nowadays but I know what the other crappity smack get up to!!!
Failing that I will be in the Horseman, - far end of Castleblayney, - on my way might pop in Dignams for a few.
01785 257416 (anytime) ask me to call you back. I can try for 'digs' for you if you want but it will be difficult in the town. Fletch may know somewhere as well.
Think Fletch has won this for the past two years. Even if it fishes crap it is miles better than lots of venues.

Hello Tony, thanks for the reply. I've just been given the name of some digs(alice's loft, Devlin) by a lad who's stayed there recently so I've just booked that. A bit away I think but the owner sorts a lift out for you so hopefully ok, if I get my kit ready before I go out they can just pick me up from pub in the morning, ha ha.
. Have you booked on yet or do you just turn up?? Loads to ask as I don't think my 12m to hand Shannon rigs will be any good.. Will give you a tinkle when I get a min to have a gab if you don't mind
.. Our digs are only self catering so is there somewhere to get a bit of snap first thing. Thanks tony

Yes, been to Alice's Loft but not stayed there.
If Kev and Baz are fishing they usually stay there, - top class digs, you'll not be disappointed.
There are a few eating houses in Blayney besides the takeaways. Coach House does a decent meal (probably where the draw is) Guinness not so good though. Decent Chinese on the other side of the road. If you want to go upmarket Glencarne Hotel do a good meal too.
Loads of chippies and kebab houses, I don't eat that crap though!!
There is a Diner on the main road they say is OK.
Other than that the odd gallon of Guinness makes a good meal!!!
:surprise :surprise.
Ring us anytime matey, just note what you want to ask.
First job, you don't need a trolley!

Always fancied a go on the Muckno pairs but usually always clashes with matches up north. This time with Mark Silmans match, so I will miss it for another year. Good luck to all that do get on, cracking fishing
