Shimano technium 1300 AR butt section?

Hi guys,
Does anyone know for sure if the butt section on the Shimano Technium 1300 Super Strong All Rounder (the new one, 2011) is parallel or not? I'm wondering if I could get away with taking it to 14.5m for Bream/Roach/Perch fishing? I'm not looking to tame margin Carp or anything heroic!
