what sort of weights do you get up there? and what sort of fish are we fishing for?
Hiya Chavey - hope you can make it, but appreciate it's a bit of a jaunt.
TBH, it's difficult to predict a weight.......the right man on the right peg and they decide to have a peck......
It fished quite hard last year - 7lb odd of silvers incl a small tinca won it, with quite a few of the members having a tinca, but nobody able to put several together.

We are fishing it a few weeks earlier this year and I expect weights to be better
Our last 3 club matches have been won with 16lb, 25lb and 18lb - tincas and bream bumping up the weights.
Realistically I aim for 3-5lb of silvers (usually roach & skimmers starting on on the punch
) plus what ever bonus fish show that you can get out........you can be having roach on the punch, or pinkie, then wham, next put in its a bonus tinca or bream.
You can sit it out on alternative 'big' baits...........but that tends to be all or nowt
