In a effort to be nice and to try to get himself an invite to the match, Bill has said he will get down there early and have the gate open for around 7.30.

Prebaiting his peg or have KFC opened early for breakfasts now.

Onto the serious side of things for a change. I am trying to sort out my holdall (to cut down on weight, no not as a form of exercise )

What bait is required should i get a very last minute invite to Shannons.

Errmmmm well IF you were get an invite I would take some feed pellet 4mm for on the deck and 6mm for shallow. In addition incase they dont want that I would take some more pellet to make em ave it.

For bait 6 and 8mm hard pellet plus some soft hookers and paste. I wouild always carry a little meat and corn just in case. Why dont you do what I do and carry just enough feed pellet and paste to get by but put loads behind the front seat of the car just in case. It will only take a few minutes to go back and retrieve it.

Still I wouldnt bother lightening your bag as an invite to the match just aint going to happen

gruellered is right si ,apart from al we all stuggled big time ,some more than others ,you know the ones ,the colliers of this world and the mortons and the roberts ,they just played statues all day ,well tony didnt ,apparantly he just moaned all day ,which got mugger going as they were fishing side by side .



thanks for the invite dave ,but next time tell the fish that we are coming cos it would appear you missed them off the list of those that should have been there .

The day wasn't a total loss as another Gibbins £1 coin now resides in Berkshire along with quite a few of it friends
