Sometimes it helps to have friends doesnt it Simple ;) ImageIts a shame I havent got many :(

Not sure if Dave will try to reduce the numbers this year in an effort to leave out some of the duff pegs and improve the fishing. Even if he doesnt I doubt there will be more than 4 or 5 places up for grabs. Though he might consider changing the format along the lines suggested by Gaz Malman.

This will be the third year. It was Rolfs in 2006 and Rolfs 2007 and oh its Rolfs in 2008. In fact its always at Rolfs ;)

Ive got two extra Super power top kits this year already armed with Red hydro. I hope that 17lber has grown on a bit, I want my first 20 and maybe some of those big chub especially that 8lber.

Simple if I take the crumpets again this year are you going to tear yourself away from Gem for long enough to eat some this time?

Its not as easy as some people think. Most of the big weights you see reported are from small opens (15 peggers) fished late in the day, which tends to help. Though draw well and do it right and 100lb can nothing special and 200lb within reach. The experts down there often do the ton in an hour. He would have to take several changes of underwear cos hes bound to crap himself.

The fish are the best cared for fish you will find anywhere. The average size must be around 7 to 8lb. Id love to see TK down there giving his knicker elastic a stretch. Image

Si I presume that Rolf is no longer with us. Never did hear anything after last years pairs.

Since the begining of August to mid November there were 24 matches.
5 were won with a ton plus
13 with 200lb plus
5 with 300lb plus
And one with 530lb
Lowest winning weight was 112lb 8 oz

Also its an amazing site after the BBQ, go and chuck your left over bread rolls on the surface. TWO slurps and they are gone. I couldn't believe my eyes :o

The first year Rolf had half a dozen large crusty loaves which he threw in, they didnt last very long either.

Tony managed to break his chub PB ( was 4lb 8oz I think) 3 times the best of them going 5lb 12oz. You must have been suffering from the effects of the alcohol the previous night.
