theres nothing bad manners or discourtous about point out your feelings. You could always say how well organised and well run the match was but you feel that the points system could of been done slightly different making it fairer rather knocking him on a different site were he cant see it.

You've misunderstood my post,

I'll explain better what i meant.

I was / am neither happy or unhappy with the way it was run as i never fished it as i know only to well that with the amount of anglers on the water most will struggle (and i was right) also would not fish them as they are suppose to be MD Team matches which to me they are not as to many non members fish them.

I only knew it was worked on weight when i spoke to Steve late last night so no way of saying on the original thread that i thought it was the wrong way to do it.

I posted that both Steve and Ade were gutted as they both drew what are good weight pegs but due to the strong cross wind neither could fish to the island properly which had nothing to do with the way the match was run but the poor weather conditions. (but i can see how it could look that way).

As i'm sure you are aware if i think something is not right i will and do shout it to the relevent people at the right time.

And as an aside i dont think anyone is knocking John as when he organises matches he gives his all and they always run smoothly.

Malc thats what surprised me because i know with you that you say what it as it is and not try and bend around it or frilly the corners up. Im sorry that i miss understood what you were on about when you were on about steve and slim. I read it as they were gutted because of the system john used for the points and that matt almost won it for his team alone

Not got a clue Si as I didn't fish it last year.
I was originally down to fish this year, and paid my peg fee, however elected to fish a club match rather than spend 5 hours driving back and forth to fish a venue that I felt would react adversly to the pressure, and notified John of this a couple of months ago.

I followed your post on the rolfs is when you said about him alowing to to buy a sack as you have 4 matches there in 3 days, and on here i followed on from you when you were moaning about the points system so how is it ME who is taking the topics off course? All ive done in both threads is follow on and point my veiws on certain parts of the topic.
