I have just got off the phone talking to Brian both of us can comfirm that the same format competition will take place next winter on the canal hopefully 50 pegs but we will set it out for 40 for a start B/J allowed remember the canal has been rested this year ;)could be a cracking series

Im not surprised Joff.Its what this area needs .I know its been said before but we need to look after the anglers that are local and want to fish NATURAL venues.
I had no doubt that this will be a success for years to come.

Cheers mate i think Brian and bucko have done a great job this season keep river matches going .freeing up my own time i had time to think about this competition and contact and book dates way before we advertisied it helps a lot.
it shows just how many anglers are now using social media and websites as this and one other site are the only place we have advertisied the competition .and i honestly though it was too early ::) ::) and now Brian has put together a match calender for 2014/15 which i will put up soon the future is looking bright for fishing in the area
i also think the canal masters will work better than the pairs
