I found a few on the punch last Wed KOD, and Heinzer had a few on the caster......... off that peg
Had a text off a 'decent angler'

last night.
It read
'I fished the section at Northfield Way today n didn't have a bite packed up after 3 hrs like tap water Im in favour of ext out of the wind'
Just thought I'd share that with you

Based on your inside information Tk I would say go back to the extension
i just think it might fish better if we spread the pegs out a bit more and give everyone fair amount of room
I wonder if that angler who text Tk told him that he was fishing paste and pellets

Forgot to mention............postal votes count as well
Scores on the doors so far...........
Stay on Ext - 4
Move to Northfield - 4
Move to Bypass - 1
Zilch for the Fingerpost
Northfield has edged slightly in front at the mo ........
But there's still a few votes to come in

When does John Snow pop up with his "swingometer" to analyse the results ?
I also think someone should vote for the Fingerpost just so that it does not feel left out

Blues4eva - Yamo's offered to peg out if it is on the Extension and to give everyone a bit more room........
Mind it does mean that after the draw, 6 will have to drive down to Doggers bridge and 6 down to the Fingerpost

Hope I don't end up on the scales

Does anyone really think the distance between pegs makes a difference? I don't. Big Baz has pegged it with 30 paces between pegs and it didn't affect the result. Still strugglers throughout the length.

That's a subject that I've mulled over many a time MrV....... do the fish 'back off' into the areas between pegs that you cant reach????
A couple of seasons ago we fished a club match there that Yamo won with double figures. There was a fair bit of space between pegs - so much so that Bullah drove us both up to doggers bridge as that was nearer to where we were both pegged.
I was flying in the first hour plus, sitting on a load of skimmers. Then a boat came up the cut and I lost em. Could I find em thereafter - could I hell as like. Thought they may have moved up the shelf - looked all around, but was virtually dry for the last 3.5 hrs, finishing 2nd to Yamo with 9lb odd all put into the net during that first bit of the match.
They never moved down to Bullah as he struggled, I reckon they shifted somewhere mid point of us both......

Could be the answer, but its a gamble either way. If you peg closer together, they back off to the end of the pegs.....or just shut their gobs until everyone has gone home. Maybe for future, another option may be to change the fishing times

11 til 3 or 9 til 1

Right guys - as Blues4eva would say - 'Pin back ya lugholes'
The voting is over..........
Only one vote in it..........
We are on...........
The Extension
As it so happens the voting was all a bit immaterial after all as MrV & Blues4eva had a wander down Northfield this afternoon and the section was just a little too short to accommodate us (17 so far with another possible 3 to 'book in')
Up for it so far - unless there's a breakaway match down Northfield
TK
Heinzer
Phil B
Blues4eva
Trevor B
Mike E
MrV
Tricast62
KOD
Big Col
Big Col T
The Hunter - got the man flu
Buzza
Tabbo
Josh - must be going up Northfield

Yamo
Cotti
Possible - Tony F
