Perhaps if you did listen you would pick up some tips from his obviously superior angling ability and maybe reduce the number of times he beats you.
I cannot agree with you there Dave. After each match I take him for a meal before setting off on the arduous journey home. The trials and tribulations I have to put myself through. Having been fed he may then go on about his fish catching prowess and my lack of it.
However your only as good as your last match and I beat him by nearly 40lb and the time before by 70lb.
must clear up a few points, Keith innocent i dont think so. I will use anyone for knowledge then ignore it and just use meat anyway. Dave recognises that it is down just to superior ability, and regards rule 7 sub 2b i will be inforcing coke rule 1 sub 296f that bragging rights shall be maintained for as long as possible now that i am a full member
No need to resort to threats of violence Keith. Just because you find it hard to compete with Mick breaking his arms isnt the answer
There is a wealth of experience that surrounds you on Marsh match days. You need to tap into that experience and learn from them. Im sure for some small considerations ( buying them a breakfast or tea and bread pudding after the matches at Colemans ) they would teach you a thing or two. Who knows in 5 or 10 years you could be gloating to Mick on the way home.

I do hope that you're not trying to besmirch Keith's good name Dave.
I'm sure that Keith was just trying to point out that should he accidently sit on Mick's glasses on the trip down from MK and break the arms on them it may make it awkward for him to fish.
Accidents do happen, especially when he was sat opposite me whilst I typed it.
Dave, I cannot believe for one minute that you think I would result to violence. . I may have left a sweetener out of Micks coffee I am forced to get him each shift but never violence .
I have shown nothing but respect for some of our elder more experienced members and have indeed consulted with them over the years. However Dementia seems to have settled in on a few and you have to take some of whats said with a pinch of salt.

Well now you have gone down im my estimation Keith. To a diabetic who is not been allowed sugar for over 32 years and has to have sweetners, there are not many crimes greater than omiting to put sweetners in someones tea or coffee.
Believe me Dave it would have been entirely innocent if i was not under duress at the time. I still supplied him with a straw to stir the coffee with though
Now we find out who is the evil one and what i have to put up with. And all this after i try and pass on my knowledge of meat fishing to no avail, used as a mick mick on the way to venues and many sessions of councilling over the years.Hope i pull as many pegs as possible this season opposite so he can watch me catching again
I remember those days well when you was mixing your groundbait in an ice cream tub with a spoon so you did not get your hands dirty. Until someone showed you how.
I have lost count of the top kits I have sorted out for you. How do you tie an overhand knot again?
Hope i pull as many pegs as possible this season opposite so he can watch me catching again
Not as much fun as battering you off the next peg though is it.
Starting to look forward to this one now . Hopefully the masterplan is coming together and I'll have managed to get off of the dreaded nights in a couple of weeks which should free my weekends up just in time to get back to the fishing.
