Its not the blanket weed, grass cutting, banana skin, potatoe , bread, orange peel, egg shell etc they but the bacteria. The bacteria is made of the stuff rotting down so to beable to keep you worms in food you need fast break down stuff making lots aof bacteria. Also because grass don't break down fast your box will be full of grass for months so you cant put any new food in

It sh!t when you get something wrong with your eyes isn't it.
I had conjunctivitis a few years ago and had to have 2 weeks off work. Couldn't sleep most nights, was terrible
