Oooh, aaah forgot about them; still I did have buy some more disgorgers after mixing me punch mix up.
Just for the the record my bowl of ready mix looked resplendent on the top shelf of the fridge, ..............when I got back

not sure if the scalesman has just taken a bung off TK i'm sure the weights add up to 6lb

must admit i was a nervous wreck and a bit squidgy ar$ed most of the time waiting for my pole to crack ,having to fish at 12 metres for most of the time in that wind,couldnt buy a bite down the inside/track after the 1st 20mins :( but was a bite a chuck tight over to the trees...never caught anything big enough to put a bend like that in my pole

but even more scary was the fact that even tho i was pulling in plenty if fish ..1 - 2 oz i had got the minx on the next peg and knowing that some decent fish were showing and gem was after them i spent most cr@ppin myself waiting for that dreaded scream

brilliant day...just every body havin a laygh,catchin a few and even though most of us most only see each other once a year its as if we have all known each other years

and next time i talk to joffie i am gonna get a box to to stand on ..i got bleedin neck ache lookin up that high

was brilliant to meet a few new faces off the site who i hadn't met before. This was the first match ive ever fished that was more like a cross between a benard manning and a chubby brown show with the jokes that were going around all day.

As simple as posted i decided that i was gonna fish a match with 2 halfs. for the first 4 hrs of the match i caught small rud, skimmers and just for mugger a few perch. On the 4 hr mark i knew a fair few had tench and good bags compared to my couple of lb so i tipped my net back in so i could dry my net out and have the last hour pleasure fishing. First put in after tipping back my laccy shot out almost straight away with a tech on the end, so i decided to start again an put my net back in for match No2
