That anniversary's is brill, only 7th in section with just under 9 kilo of half roach and half small skimmers. I fed it slightly wrong and lost a tench which combined cost me framing over the 2 days, you can't make mistakes against in these matches.
Well done to Queenie and dnw on a super result and well done to Danny top performance against a class field

We blew out on day 1 scoring 40 points with 2 lasts but Starlet had our draw day 2 so can't complain, Martin Greene won his section off my peg with 8 kilo odd, we drew the French b teams pegs from day 1 on day 2 and they were behind us on day 1 so we didn't fancy it but we did ok scoring 25 points

Dunno what you think joff, but i thought for such a big match there might have been some angling press there???? team fishing needs some focus on really or else there might not be any in years to come.. i don't think angling press are right bothered about team events unless they trying to promote themselves i.e a/t etc...

Q,
The last match I personally went to cover, other than Div One, was a round of the UK Champs.
I received to much abuse, mate; you wouldn't believe what happens sometimes. I think a lot of us feel like that, it just isn't worth it.

you've hit the nail on the head I've had loads of phone calls asking if I've got any pictures of the event
:-/but i wanted to focus on my own fishing this weekend so i didn't really get the camera out
as for the AT you'd of thought after the bad winter we've had a quality feature would have been good for the paper

bill when we went to france everybody had there photo's taken while tackling up so at least they could put a photo of the winner if not of his catch
its not a cheap match but i wouldn't miss it for the world its the closest a lot of anglers will get to a international match
nothing is easier than all fish 13m all have the same bait allowance and G/B
the hard bit is putting the right stuff in
none of these pellets in sight no one fishing a method or air rig meat not even paste
ban the lot
