Yes MrV - on Wyrley Grove Bridge where we've parked up for the first two matches - unless that section is 'leafed out' then we'll pop to the Boatyard

An influx of membership renewals via email today - a strange concidence that so many have arrived today (????) - prompts me to post and advise that 2011 club cards (which run from Jan to Dec) are now available - still £5 a year
Tight lines

Canal now 'open' after the close season
Just had a report from who else, Cotti the Wharburton King.
He's knocked the bread on the head - it was 'too easy', a fish a chuck but they were only small roach
Since swapping to the caster he's had hybrids, roach, perch, gudgeon and what he believes to be a dace
His pellet line aint produced yet, but he thinks that might be cuss he's got a 6lb rig on that line and he may have to step down a bit

For those of you who never clocked this in Midland Angler several years ago...............

Obviously the contact details quoted at the bottom are now obsolete............and what a bargain it is to fish it these days - only a fiver a year, rather than £8 back in 2003
Just noted the link has changed - this should be it now
