Cheers guys Image.

Now then, I know who a few of you are, but I do not know Dodge's real name or Bill Yards or Drawbag's and as  Image is a  Image can someone fill me in? Image (if you will pardon the expression! Image

Hi Chris, things are not too bad mate, I was banned from the open matches on the river Yare for a throwaway comment I made on TF about an "incident" regarding some dubious pegging about 4/5 years ago Image the man behind it all was a local angling reporter that stirred the sh!t big time  :o I think he must have beena bit desperate for a story ,anyway the ordeal lasted for a couple of articles in the EDP over the first few weeks of the river season :-[ but I got the ban lifted when I made a "personal visit" to the match organisers before the draw one bright and sunny morning, a little bit of straight talking and a few stern words later >:( and the ban was lifted Image despite this, I did not bother to fish the river all summer, my heart just was not in it :(.

Dan and I try to fish the silver fish only matches at Barford www.barfordlakes.com (click on results) on Tuesdays , Bob (Nudd) sometimes turns up and it always seems to be between him and my Daniel, Dan won this Tuesday but Bob was not there, Dan caught a lovely bag of Skimmers (50lb+) and reckoned it was one of the best days match fishing he has had in several years Image

Are you doing the Fish'o circus again next year mate?

Bob you should know better than ask people their real names on a forum Imageit`s upto them if they want to tell, all i am going to say is that they are very well respected anglers Image Image.
Nice too see Dan fishing still,i also heard about the ban on the Yare, i also followed it on the TF site.
As for the fisho i`m going to enter a few not as many as last year due to some of the crap venues they use. Image

Hi Ropa, they vary mate, but I suppose on average about a pound and a half to two pounds, Dan would have had a very big weight if it were not for the massive carp that kept moving into his swim, it is par for the course on the Barford Pleasure lake though 8-) 4mm expander pellets on a light size 16/18 hook to 0.10mm hooklength means the carp do not stay on long :D poor old Rod Finch hooked and lost 22 of em :-[ thats over 200lb in there Image
