Round Four,
Dams & Locks

It was a strange day on many fronts on the Birmingham/Fazeley at Minworth with Snow, then Rain, then more rain but with gale force winds, then calm and sunny, then hail storms leaving the major winner on the day the umbrella manufacturers....

Individually Ian Crossman scored a very close win over Mark Taylor with a roach catch on joker and one big perch. Both were in B section with Ian on peg 1 and Mark on peg 4.

Ian Crossman (Browning Central) 7-9-0
Mark Taylor (Shakespeare) 7-8-12;
Simon Mottram (Trabucco Midlands Van den Eynde) and Kevin Perry (Sensas Dams and Lock) both 5-12-8;
Ted Gackowski (Atherstone) 4-15-4;
Rob Quinn (Shakespeare) 4-14-6.

Team honours on the day went for the second round running to Fox Tipton with 27 points to take them to joint top in the overall standings.

Teams:
Fox Tipton Van den Eynde 27;
Shakespeare 29;
Sensas Dams and Lock 43;
Atherstone and Trabucco Midlands Van den Eynde both 48;
Browning Central 52;
Eclipse 55;
Drennan North West 56.

League:
Shakespeare and Fox Tipton Van den Eynde both 10;
Sensas Dams and Lock and Trabucco Midlands Van den Eynde both 15;
Drennan North West 17;
Browning Central 22;
Atherstone and Eclipse both 25.

Just getting my kit ready for the Walsall Canal on Sunday.

So far I have packed three baseball bats, four shovels and buckets for the dog sh!t, two cameras - one will be nicked and the other one is to get a pic of the guy that nicks it, the phone numbers of the West Midlands and Staffordshire Police.

I shall do a few rigs later on.
