Just to clarify one further point, - five pairs will qualify for the final from each match regardless of entry.

Ben bread can work on there, groundbait will work, casters maggots, the normal stuff there might be an odd eel that shows perch might be spawning it will be more lightly to be a skimmer match hinstock wood is a good area theres two pegs on the oak tree where anything goes palethorpse is another good area it all depends if the fish have started spawning and it's just a normal cut there is odd chub to.

The draw for the forthcoming series of matches on the Loughborough canal will be at the Carillon Hockey Club which is to be found in Moor Lane off Empress Road Loughborough postcode LE11 1ST. For those of you who know the canal the hockey club is on the left after crossing the Scrapyard Bridge.
They will be serving hot food at breakfast and after the match. However it would help the caterers if they had an rough idea of how many might want food in the mornings. So if you could indicate if you would be interested in a breakfast it would ensure enough food is bought.
Many thanks
Brian Hull

Udate from Brian Hull
Looks like we have 26 pairs although it could be a problem as it looks like some people have the wrong tickets so there could be more but I will not know until the morning of the match. Means putting in pegs that may not be used.
Despite a plea for help weighing in only had one reply from a non match angler offering help.
To clarify points in a 50 peg section winner gets 50 points second 49 points and so on. Last in section one point non-weighers no points. The five pairs with the highest aggregate go through to the final.
WHO WOULD BE A MATCH ORGANISER. NO WONDER I LOST MY HAIR YERAS AGO.
