We will fish as late as we can on the first day, most of us will be staying there after the second day also to fish the Jinx match but I will have to have a sensible end time for the people that are not staying so they can leave at a reasonable time.

Come on Dave for me to be up there i'd have to fish more of the match than the normal 2 hours.

The thing is, just a couple of weighers per hour gives you 100lbs+ that's 10 fish or less.
Sometimes they may be there on the first put in or you may have to wait 4 hrs, That's half the fun.

What really sorts them out though is when YEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSS is heard from Gem's peg after 5 mins.

Followed by her continued visits upto the Scales.

Absolutly nothing can ever prepare you to fish your first ever Jinx Match at Rolfs. No matter how much you try to find out beforehand, no matter how much you prepare your rigs, the first time you see the lake as you walk through the car park to peg 29 and see the large dark shapes cruising just below the surface of the lake, you are speechless .
Nothing can prepare you for the thoughts that go through your head.
What are you doing there.
Are you certain that your pole is strong enough.
Do carp really grow THAT big and why are there so many of them in one lake?
The sudden realisation that we havent been Bullsh1tting you for the previous 6 months.
Where is the toilet before you walk any further and risk a problem.
