With news of a cormorant on the cut near the junction I thought I'd better check out things, so off I went this morning to wet a line with Phyllis Pearce who I promised would have a 90% chance of a tinca or breme as I dropped him on the junction. I dropped on the peg to his left.
I was armed with some mags to get out of jail plus pellets looking for a bonus or two.
The good news. No sign of the cormorant.
Fishing was slow but steady
I caught roach, rudd, perch and some hand sized skimmers on the mag over micro pellets .
Oh and my first ever crawker with red signals
Had one sail away on a 6mm expander, but missed it
I did however get out of jail on the mag with a couple of 4 to 5lb'rs from differing lines

A carp, tinca (minus another one that missed the net) plus some nice silvers from a cold junction this morning
