Fancied a bit of "proper/old school" cut fishing for a change TK.
Boats aint a problem when they are coming regularly. I think they do more damage when there are odd ones throughout a session

spent 5 or 6 hours there and apart from 3 or 4 blade roach only had about 2lb of small perch.
passer by told me the bream were all up in the wider section again probably ready to spawn

may be I need to put more effort into choosing peg instead of just falling out of car onto bank .

Did have a couple of big bream on Sunday at the junction they were covered in nodules and a couple of big Rudd

Oh forgot to say Sunday afternoon had 2 BOATS come down and turned up extention wiping out all 3 lines I'd fed all day

Did you use OBI bait though ?

Nah used cotti's baits and w*&^

All nets must be dipped prior to fishing
2 Keepnets required - Split fish evenly, Separate Silver fish, No tumbling fish, pull bottom rings through when weighing in, and return fish carefully

will be interested in seeing the results as ive been fishing beckets for the past few weekends on pleasure sessions and every time ive found it hard until the afternoon when the fish are in the margins . Found banded pellet or caster fishing up in the water gets the fish in the morning.
