The lad is brilliant Joff, he's taken it to the next level now, defo get an England call up in the future! He's a nice lad too
I agree. Tell you what that peg he was on Saturday doesn't produce normally, nobody really wants to be there.
I had 40lb off it once, but must of been a one off as its been pretty poor since, some big roach long with a few skimmers if I recall, good weights again andy

Todays match fished well I thought considering how cold it was in the night, cold wind made presentation difficult too on a lot of pegs.
1st was Bill Rutherford on peg 10 with 20lb 5oz. 2nd was me with 19lb 2oz off 16. 3rd was 12lb 2oz off peg 3. 8th was 10lb so it was a good close match.
hardly any carp ( I had 3 on) so thank god for a frost lol
Joff, Graham was on 15 in between me and Swinno who was on 13. oh, did we give him some lolol
good day tho, ood laff and gud days fishing.
match on satday if anyone fancies it, losing a 3 or 4 to the Erewash winter league this week, so won't be so many there, but get in touch if you fancy a nice days fishing

yep, Kingfisher won it with 27lb off peg 16. Dean was 2nd off 10 with 18lb, Tom Pringle was 3rd with 17lb off peg 8.
me, Nigel Bull and Swinno all had 12lb, cant remember the ounces cos Brooksy's got the result sheet but Swinno beat me by a couple of ounces cos he was laughing and punching the air cos he'd just done me
I never saw a skimmer all day, just had all roach up to 8oz, needed them bonus fish but was a lovely days fishing.
had to fish heavier than i'd normally do just to get half decent presentation cos the wind was horrendous.
It was like fishing an old Swad match at Bladon with Kingfisher next to Nige Bull and Wayne the other side.
good old days
Next match this Saturday and I reckon it could be almost full cos I think the 8 or 9 lads who fish the Erewash Valley will be back.
