Big slabs are awesome fish!!!
Not sure about the rod pods and buzzers though! I occasionally fish an old gravel pit in Bedfordshire for the bream that range from 9 to 13 lb. fish It match style with 2lb hooklengtj and size 17 b711 ;-)
PS good luck Joff ... I gave up serious team fishing in the mid 90s. .... I am starting to miss it now!

Cheers mate no dougt I'll miss it but I need to back off and get my own fishing sorted
Talking about big bream we fished a match on a lake at cossington full of prime red fins normally only carp fished I won the match with 34lb 3oz just 3 bream on the pole the biggest 11lb 15oz 11lb 10oz and 10lb 10oz a. Bloke took a video I must get the stills of it it's going back a few years now
They must be still in there yet you hardly see anyone fish the lake now as the season tickets have gone through the roof

The place I go is a club water which cost 50 quid a year. I blank as often as I catch but my best is 11 fish in a 5 hour session.

The Switherland res where this photo was taken today is still 8 to 10 feet down matts fishing close on 100yards he sent a bait boat out with his depth find these lads know what they are doing it's different I must say not my cup of tea but when you catch a beast it must a great feeling
Colly 15years is a Long time just want to fish and enjoy it again I have been sorting a few matches where I want to fish if the team need me I'm here
