Wait a minute, don't we already have a wranking system. Those that fish for vast pots of gold and the rest of us that fish at grass roots level, treat the sport as a hobby, turn up regardless of what is in the pot, enjoy the day out and help youngsters as much as we can.

What is wrong with the tried and tested open matches, winter league of various descriptions with the icing on the cake being the National Championships?
