Hope not Dark Horse - after big Col smashed thru 4ins plus of ice on my peg on the Exxtension a couple of years ago I did go on record that i'd fished my last ice breaker......... just gerrin too old for these sort of capers now

If I get chance later I'll pop past and see what the state of play is

There was no ice on Mouse's cut down down Green lane about 1pm, but Big Baz tells me there was a bit of cat ice on our cut this morning

think last time i cleared ice on cut was staff/worcester during fms w/l,  boats had been thru day before and broke the ice, of course froze again over nite and was twice as thick , after spending  an exhausting hour  clearing my peg with my ice-breaker repeatedly bouncing off i slipped in brrr

Although I didnt fish, was good to have a wander down and see a few old faces and have a chinwag.... missed the craic lads, and have paid up and will be back on the bank next year.... new job pending should allow more Saturdays off

once again,as per usual,every time i draw next to the new dram queen aka yamo ,i get done at the death ...bloody good laugh though
