I have only heard rumours Pete, the soar one was quite strong but even that's died down. I just hope it's a nice natural venue, canal or river not bothered mate. If it's on a commy I doubt I would be interested as its just not me, or You I think !!!!!!!! Unless You like a bit of the darkside !!!!!!!

Defo in for a canal match come sunday me thinks! Been all over leicester today and every brook was in the field... :( Roads were even flooded and the soar was only just in its banks. Be a shame to fish the last round on the canal but at least we should all get a few bites. Maybe a couple more sections at bishops meadow instead of the town?

Aye it was a good peg but he did have a few hours start on me
Anyway my 2oz perch was in good nick
Bushes trees and fences came floating past still it kept the otters at bay
It never stopped lashing it down all morning
