Mullarkey, I remember Mark Stabler, he used to come and fish the Trent and Mersey at Burton. He was very good with the rod and line fishing caster, again another angler who packed up just a few years after he won the national. He was a nice bloke aswell (hopefully still is !).
Too true Choppie, I think he fished for Provincial. He did pack up soon after winning that National, came back again (used to see him fishing Shugborough matches on the T&M) for a short while than packed up again.
