evening all,
i really f%£&*d my peg up(122)a end peg, first time id seen it looked a bit narrower than most in the length.
so decided to take a gamble and lob my breaker in  Imagebig mistake
only at the all in to sit and watch everyone start to catch it took me about 40 mins to catch and it was on a line at 13m to my left well out the way of were id lobbed me breaker.
the stamp were good 15 to the pound but on a clear canal one line is never enough to catch off.
caught well between 12 and 1 oclock but stamp got smaller and slower.

i never really caught on any of my other lines till last hour then they small and slow to catch.
ended with 6lb 4oz   if i aint thrown me breaker think i would have framed with 8lb +

Solid where you were Si lol

I drew peg 300. I didn't fancy it at all, but it was end peg in the match. The main problem with it is that the canal starts to go narrower and shallower with a lot of weed.

My section went from peg 282 to 300 which also meant i'd got some very goods pegs in my section.

I never had a bite for the 1st two hours while Mark Taylor and Andy Higginbottom on were catching decent fish and Chris Harvey was catching small fish after 10 minutes.

My first fish was a roach about an inch long...

followed by another minute thing...

I ended up with 2-6-6 for 12th in section, mainly due to 3 skimmers in the last 15 minutes for 1lb 4oz.

Shithole....needs filling in!

Only 2 fish from across, the rest off about 3 lines down the middle, only 10 fish though, good stamp.
