Its on Josh. Weather forecast not too bad and it was low and clear at Burton today...so low and clear the bloody pike had half the fish I hooked. Still finished with just short of double figures in 3 hours, so looking good for Saturday

It might be too much, I dont know the venue.
But it is a shame nowadays that a drop of water and its called off. I think we know more nowadays about fishing with a bit of water in, often it can fish as well as without.
A low clear river can fish awful, bit it wouldn't be called off.

I find it hard to know what this actually means in reality.
When it was so much above or below normal winter or summer level, and falling/rising or steady, I could roughly imagine what it would be like.

Whatever you do dont go Wton - A5 then east or you are likely to get snarled up.
