I knew it must have been a boatyard TK because the boat is being launched. I must admit, I didn't recognise that bridge but I assumed it had been knocked down before I was born but I suppose the photo would have to have been a Fox Talbot jobie. I used to live in that area. Our garden wall used to overlook the second pound from Walsall to lock.
I knacked my knee up in about 1973. I use to play for a works team in the Bloxwich Combination Sunday league.
Sorry to ramble but i've just had one or two JD's
Were the old MEB offices where Homeserve is now ?

Nice one Arch
Bet you've loved the last couple of winters we've had with ice accretion on the overheads bringing them down
Makes you realise what a small world it is Cheslynboy - forgot to mention thee working out of Walsall for a couple of decades as well. Make sure you take care of that MESC coat - its a collectors item
Then there's also Cotti and Millie who were jointers at MEB b4 'taking the money and running'........as well as Roberto D who came to Walsall from Wton offices in 1982. He managed to escape last year as well
We'll have to have an ex MESC reunion match...........
I can put it on your favourite venue if you like
