correct we had this conversation last night in the woodies with i few old players Ian marshall was one of them
he said being realistic man utd and city weren't that bothered about this cup from the start it has no real value apart from winning it and getting a trophy and it goes with a lot of other competitions ,the Spanish team that played man utd know they have no chance at winning the Spanish league and again this league does not carry anywhere near the amount of money our premiership has so they put in a blistering performance
fergie might well look disappointed but deep down there is only one title on his mind .i think he said the parashoot payments in the premiership are massive right through the league
like the man city game 2nil down came out the second half and looked brilliant and think they could of won that game
