One thing I don't understand about this is why sign up to fish a pairs "League" then drop out half way through ?? Surely everyone knew the dates before hand. They were then commited to fish them. It isn't fair on the ones who do fish all the matches when someone doesn't fancy a round of the league and then goes somewhere else.

Treat a missing angler as a DNW + a extra point.

I can't imagine anyone doing this in a National. Drawing there peg, not fancying it and buggering of home.

Poor show IMO.

arch thing can happen sickness stuff like that i think i will do the points the other way and start with nil points so if you don't catch its zero points no one can argue

I agree with JELLFISH if he's on his own he should get max points for his absent partner but then again if he's fishin individually he should'nt count for the pairs score!!!!!!
