Vespe only made a certain amount of the pink stuff no longer available i am told as it was not a big seller and dont be fooled by the current pink stuff either as the diameter is different.

Preston 11h set soft for f1s and small carp, 13h for bigger carp and garbolino orange for edge / bagging. Used all these for years. As long as your bottom the elastic before fishing, it will perform brillaint every time. Like you've said though its a very personal thing which needs to be right to put more fish in the net!

I find preston 11h can be to much for f1's i currently use middy orange 5-6 doubled. however would like to find the hydro rating to this one. I find preston 11h ideal for winter carp.
