In fact i popped down the cut this morning - I'll post a pickie or two in a bit............the W&E looked sock on again. Tricast62 suggested having a knock up on there next week 


So I was chatting to Heinzer lunchtime and suggested - for a change -  meeting up on the junction of the two canals by the canal cottage - then dependent on conditions we could either fish the common or if windy, fish that southern most section of the Extension for a change.......I'm sure a few fish must have found their way up there 

What do you reckon?

Any thoughts MrV, Tricast62, Josh etc or preferences?

Smashin'  , only trouble is now i've got to sort some canal gear out ! 

One rig and caster sounds like an easy option

Thats a good idea TK thys with you on that one thys itchin to fish common been 3 year pluss since last fished there don't think thys fished southern end of extention though

That's the thought Chockie Munster Tricast62 was having a fair few down Wood lane on Sunday - I was just looking to 'edge our bets' to have to save moving if we pulled up and it was blowing a hoolley along there - we could stay parked up if there are white horses and fish the bottom of the Extension instead - some must have moved up it as well

don't think thys fished southern end of extention though

We havent Tricast, but I've seen pleasure anglers having a few fish out of it over the last couple of seasons

Cotti says he's fished it when it was gin but just had loads of small perch - daint think you had them on the white stuff

Aint spoke to him today, but I know he was down there sussing it this afternoon - he reported there was a fair bit of colour in it - must be all them feeding fish stiring it up - not to mention MGB's boat went down on Sunday am

Sold a permit to a guy last year - he was having a roach every put in down that bottom end...........plus I've seen MarkO pleasuring it in the past too
