ps
joff, spoke to lloydy tonight (thursday) and we have nearly the same thoughts on how and where this could go as a competition also lots of other ideas for the furthering of our sport in general
i am of the opinion that the trust needs to get all bonafide team captains to a meeting to thrash out a way forward for the future of match fishing in this country, only then will we be able to try to resurrect team fishing to something near what it used to be Image

too right mark Image

you have to talk and take on ideas to make team fishing attractive to anglers
but at the same time anglers are there own worst enemy .the sudden decline in match organisers is all down to the anglers

the days of any amount of money being involved has gone
it would of been nice to a fish-o-mania final for teams i think teams would come out of the woodwork then Image

you are so right joff, anglers are the most apathetic bunch of so called sportsmen i have ever been involved with.
like bill says some ain't happy unless they can moan about summat.....but will they get off their fat arses and be proactive? not on your life!!!!!
i am so grateful to the small band of organisers that put themselves out so that we can fish matches but i am afraid that the moaners are eroding even this small number of selfless people.........shame on them is what i say mate Image
