Match has been confirmed and it looks like it will be the biggest ever Marsh match.

Same here. It will be good to fish Woods for a change.

I did fish a pleasure session with Tony on it about 3 years ago and managed a ton plus but then there were only 3 fishing on the 40 pegs. I know nothing about the pegging so we are going to have to play it by ear this time. If we end up with 30 fishing then I may do something like peg 3 and miss 1.

Peg 3 and miss 1,  Image don't like that one bit, puts every angler in the centre of the 3 pegs at an immediate disadvantage. :(

Put them all in the hat unless there are any obvious ones to leave out. Perhaps Chris V could advise on any obvious pegs that might not be included. ;)

I agree just have an open draw but take out any pegs in corners or pegs you think may not have a lot of room.

Ah yes, though you haven't mentioned it Dave, I do seem to remember some of the members discussing your performance whem March AC fished this lake in the past, evidently your Dad wasn't to impressed with your performance on the day. Image Image

Ask Tel.....he had a pretty poor peg when we fished Exchanging match there a few weeks back...had very little depth.....I'm sure he will let you know peg number on Sunday, one to keep out the draw :) :)

Considering that my dad worked in the docks for most of his life, your transcript is only a mild version of what he actually said. Image Image Image Image

I almost stopped in a layby at Chelmsford to forcibly eject him from the car to walk home. Image
