Im sure we can squeeze the Chipman in Mugger.
I will bring a microscope to check the nets before we use them, just to make sure they havent been tampered with.

Colin went last Tuesday in re.
The pegs on the opposite bank ally bad conditions. There was a match on one bank approx pegs 17 to 30 and was won with 50odd lb but they had their backs to the wind. The pegs on the opposite bank 1 to 15 were almost unfishable with high winds a heavy rain blowing straight at them. He settled on the road bank peg 34/5 and had 35lb from 10 til 4 and then bagged 85lb in the 2 hours til 6pm.
Terry fished it Thursday in better conditions on peg 34 ( shortest walk ) and had 80 carp. Only one lump about 9 with the next biggest at 4lb and an estimate of 160lb plus. Again a lot of the fish were in the last 2 hours 4 til 6.
Both of them will be down there again tomorrow.

I take it we are fishing 12 till 6 then

In order to even things up Im thinking that you and Keith should fish 9 til 3 while the rest of us fish 10 til 6.
You will be in your element on Saturday Clive. There are loads of small carp for you to catch.

I reckon it will probably be a Coot this time as I've had a Moorhen and a Mallard on my last 2 visits.

Just a quick quiz for you all.
Which member forgot to put his drawer locking pin in place before lifting his box off the platform. Then watched his tray with 40 feeders and hook wallet slid into the lake?
Which member hooked a near double carp managed to get it into the net. He then grabbed the spreader to lift it out only to see both arms of the net part company with the spreader?
Answers to these and any other questions will be answered in front of everyone at the draw on Saturday.

Can I suggest that whoever draws peg 24 feeder fishes. I suggest that you fish 3 foot out in front of the platform.
The previous owner will pay £1 for every feeder caught and returned to him.

Anyone late for the draw, because they only thought of their own stomachs and went for a brekkie, will be penalised 60lb.

See there you go again, I was not thinking of myself but my ageing travelling companion.
Perhaps you should take a leaf from this, you then may catch 60lb.

I suppose at your age you need any advantage you can manufacture.
Can you make all anglers aware that loose feeding swimfeeders is frowned upon, even if they are empty at the time.
