any news yet

Did speak to Si earlier and he was on 18 and fishless and Budgie was on 31 and was just playing his first carp.

Spoke to Simps this evening around 6·30pm and he was sounding a little beaten up by Rolfs. :(
After suffering a bit of a grueller on peg 18 yesterday, he was having another mare today on peg 38.  They've been fishing from 2-7 pm, but will be fishing from 12-5 tomorrow.
They're using the same sections as we are on the Jinx Series, so it's B section for him tomorrow.

I think he's convinced himself that he used up all his luck on the 1st Jinx Match.

Well I was not last. It's fished extra hard today. Will post some results tomorrow. Beer and bbq time now :-D

Simps drew PEG 13 today.

And he caught more than you on it 

I drew peg 9 on thursday and had 134lb, peg 19.......yes 19....on friday and caught 24lb and today I was on 40 and caught 74lb. Peg 18 only produced 1 carp of 13lb on friday and 21 only had 1 bream.   Thursday fished well but it got harder as the days went on.
Hopefully having had 19 I wont get it in the next Jinx match.....big hopefullies

Best I've had off of 13 is 91lbs Simps. It's not a bad peg, but I just don't get on with it.
